Playa La Manzanilla
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Again, we were there the 2nd last wk in March and on the wknd, it was packed with people, umbrellas, kids and a catermaran off shore. You could sit at a table and get a beer or food. 8-9 bus loads of people here during Holy Wk. Stayed away from there. Too crowded.

This is a very local beach. Good beach for small children. Small waves even on windy day and shallow water for easy access but there are some rocks in the water so watch out for those. There is food and vendors available for shopping. Bathrooms for a fee. Parking was 20 pesos in a big field. There are tables and chairs to sit and order from a restaurant. If you have your own umbrella and chairs the food will come to you and everything else will too. We did a lot of shopping on this beach. Fun day on the beach near La Cruz--you can see the La Cruz Marina from this beach. I really like the queso pies.

Thank Kathy D
