There is just about everything you could want here. Its kind of a quirky mixture of shops and restaurants. While mostly touristy you can find some authentic Japanese glassware, artwork and clothing. Some shops are pricey so do your math on those price tags in yen of course. All in all we had a very nice day here including a very nice lunch at a second floor restaurant overlooking the water. Well worth a visit.

There’s an amazing ramen shop on the first floor of american village. GO THERE. I bought a lot of the trinkets i brought home at this mall. it’s also got a wonder view of the sea wall and the ocean. We went for a stroll and listened to the waves.

This place is a hop, skip and a jump from my apt. This is a good place to meet family and friends and has good shopping and eats not to mention karoke and beaches nearby. Awesome for general good times, good bars, and good food. Potential memories being made here.
Location for Coffee and Cars Okinawa - Car Event. Awesome!!!!!

The American Village is one of the ‘a must see place’ in Okinawa. Most of the shop is American brand. It is very lively, however only at night. At day time it is quiet and it just look like a lonely village. Nothing much to do around the area except shopping and eating. It is close to the American base so you can always hear the sound of the plane and choppers. It’s a must see place but be aware that most of the things are expensive, including food.

Some said that the shops are tourists trap. While I don’t deny some of them indeed are we should not deny that the place is beautiful at night with the Ferris wheel at the background of a bustling crowd.
