This is a story of hotel from hell where nothing is delivered even if you made the communication and got the confirmation months in advance. I am lost with words to describe the mismanagement, lack of sincerity and honestly of the hotel. I have booked the entire hotel (all the 12 operating rooms and the party hall) for 3 nights as i was hosting a wedding event. I was communicating with the owner and with the staff for months in advance for all the arrangements but at the time of delivery everything went for a toss. And the hotel couldn’t do anything much than just to apologies

Potter service – There is no lift in the hotel and you have to carry all your luggage by yourself. So ya, be ready to walk up and down with all your luggage.

Room Service – Forget about it because they are so busy that they didn’t even supply basic daily drinking water in the room. They will collect your laundry but then they forget to clean it so after days when you ask for your laundry they will just return your dirty laundry.

Cleanliness – The hotel is kind of clean with heaps of mosquito. Terrible bed sheet, torn and old bath towels and if accidentally if you put any stain on towel they will charge you INR 500 per towel.

Price – Check your bill before you pay. Coke which is INR 40, they will charge INR 90 and then tax and services charges on top of it.

Breakfast – You will not see breakfast before 930am even after you tell them 100 times to arrange breakfast by 730 am. And then be ready to encounter the most pathetic breakfast that you can think of.

In SHORT – if you are looking for “Pathetic experience at the most pathetic hotel” than you should stay here.

Room Tip: Do not stay in this hotel

Wonderfully charming hotel. Location is spot on The room was impeccably clean and very comfortable and the staff were exceptional, always very helpful. Good Value for money with good breakfast. Rooms and baths are sparkling clean.

Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

So many issues... let me list everything!
1) the hotel isnt finished. Why do they take bookings? Very poor business decision. There is no elevator, no basic ameneties like bed side lamps, no milk or coffee in the room for the kettle, no pillows for the bed only the bed cover cushions, no slippers. When you ask for milk, extra pillows in takes over 45mins!

2) there were 3 peoplw in our room. Over the phone they said they can accomodate for an extra bed. However it wasnt a bloody bed!! It was a mattress on the floor! No bed frame. The bed linen wasnt even tucked in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The quilt didnt come with a bed sheet either. When we asked to put a cover, it took about an hour! The main bed linen had stains. God knows when it was changed. 1 good thing is that the mattress was comfy. Then my mum was about to have a shower, where she noticed the toilet leaked into the shower. In india, some hotels- the shower is more a wet room ie there is no elevated or raised seperate shower. It is all on the same floor. This is fine, i am used to it bt the water doesnt flow into the drain. So disgusting! The fact that the toilet when flushing leaks into the shower area is unhygenic. I mean, that is how you get water bourne diseases such as cholera!!!!
3) we asked to be moves to anothwr room straight away. We moved 2 doors down. Sorry but if this was another hotel, they would have given a free upgrade or done something else to pay for our troubles at around 9pm! But no, nothi g. The housekeeping were not rude but they kept finding exuses... the guest should always be right within reason in hospitality thats rule number 1!!
4) assam gets quite cold in the night. We asked for a little heater. They said due to another guest getting another heater and then it burning someone's clothes they cant give them out. I mean thats ridiculous! Either purchase quality standarf heaters or dont tell that anecdote. Very unprofessional

5) so the hotel iz unfinished, hardly any guests. Breakfast waz very very tasty i'll give them that. The aloo paratha was lovely! But theres no menu. The waiter doesnt understand what to bring. Personally it was too little. They should print out a menu and guests can decide the night before and let the restaurant know. The choice is very limited.
6) when it came to the bill in the morning, they charged 3300 for double room then 2200 for extra bed. I mean that was not a bed!!!!! The room was unfinished! No discount?! And the receptionist was not smiley. She was so moody. Plus this didnt include the stay for the driver. We complained. They took off the extra bed charge as they realise you know it wasnt even a bed.... they kept trying to justify everything. "Oh we will get this, we will have bed frames, bla bla bla". Overall it still came to around 5800 rupees which i dont think was worth it at all. The only nice thing was the taste of breakfast though there was little choice.

If the hotel is unfinished, dont open it! And charge full price! Disgraceful.
If a guest has a number of complaints, try your best to fix it and also offer something to supplement the suffering!
I wouldnt be as annoyed if they didnt charge full price for the rooms. You cant charge full price for an unfinished room, darling.

Perfectly located, the hotel delivers on service. The staff go that extra mile to make you feel like you are in for a luxurious escape! I loved the food and the bar is well stocked, definitely unlike something I've seen in Assam. They also do great events and are quite creative with their cocktails! 10/10 recommend!
