We have just spent a week at this hotel and wish we could stay forever! The hotel we had actually booked into was closed when we arrived (!?*) and they directed us to Yacthing Club instead. Thank god they did! Yacting Club is a modern, spotless hotel with a nautical theme and amazing views over the bay and the Aeolian islands - you can actually see the plume of smoke coming out of Stromboli. The hotel rooms are a crisp, clean white with ample storage space and the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in - amazing to wake up without back ache! Aircon is included, aswell as a safe, fridge, phone and flatscreen tv. Each room has an en suite shower room with little port hole windows, and a brilliant shower. Breakfast is taken in the conservatory at the rear of the hotel - fresh croissants in every flavour, Italian meats and cheese, fresh coffee and juice, fruit and yoghurts. Breakfast is served when you want it! The rear of the hotel has a large sunbathing area, with the beach just 50 meters away - and they put sun loungers on the beach for us. The well stocked bar is always open, and they serve complimentary snacks - nuts, crisps and local olives with your drinks. The hotel staff cannot do enough for you - they will arrange and research trips, recommend restaurants, and did their utmost to sort out problems with our original booking. It was like staying with really good friends, they really couldn't do enough for us. They even arrange your evening meal, bringing in local Foccacia Pizzas and Anti-Pasti if required. A BIG thank you to Veronica, Giovanni & Antoinietta for a brilliant holiday! (And Lucrezia for being so cute!) The hotel is ideally placed for sight seeing the north east of the island and the Aeolian Islands.

Room tip: Ask for a room at the rear of the hotel, they have balconies where you can relax and enjoy the incredible views, especially at night.
