We picked this placed based on the fact that we are Interval members, the location was good and the price was right. |I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews but we were very satisfied with the stay. We arrived late so the front desk arranged for us to get our keys from the safe which worked out great. We were unsure if we were to get a bungalow or 2 storey cottage so we took the 2 storey. Though the furniture may be a little old - the couch in particular, the rest of the furnishings were just fine. The layout could have been better but then what do you do. It is what it is and this did not take away from the overall stay. The view from our room was fantastic and the grounds are maintained very well. The front desk staff was attentive and helped when needed. The little convenience store on site came in very handy on the first morning. The laundry facility may have been a touch expensive (6 euro for a wash and 3 euro for a dry) but this too came in very handy. Because we were out and about so much we did not try the pool or dining facilities. It appeared the resort is very kid friendly. We were there from the 14th of May until the 21st and the place was empty so there was no noise and no people to content with - depending on what you are looking for this is good and bad.
We would stay here again given the opportunity as it is in close proximity to the many attractions in Normandy. There are grocery outlets in the towns close by (within 15 minutes) for your food and drink needs.

Room Tip: Try for the 200, 400, 500, and 700 series rooms. I think they have the best views.

Was the first time we had stayed at a Pierre & vacancies, would stay at one of the resorts again, but would be more prepared. This resort only supplies the toilet roll in the house and the same with the rubbish bags, if you want more you have to pay for them !
This is the first resort we've ever been too, that we had to do this ,there is a house clean at the end if you wish to pay for it. Which we didn't, but would off liked a house clean in the middle of the week. Which they don't do.
There were no pool towels either, it was lucky I put some in as a extra.
There was no cooker but the microwave had a grill, but the instructions were all in French we asked for a English version but didn't, have one, found it online in the end.
Bedrooms are a nice size with lots of cupboard space. There was a stair gate which was great as we had our grandchild with us.
The restaurant is nice and all the staff are friendly, good food and also a good takeaway service.
The swimming pool complex is very nice, the children s pool is lovely and very warm and had lots of toys for them to play with.
There is also a great indoor play area.
It's worth paying a couple of euro,s and having a game off crazy golf which was good fun.
The top half of the resort is easy to walk around, but it gets steeper the further you go down.
The houses are set in lovely grounds and gardens.

Room Tip: Very basic bedding in the "standard" house with a thin foam mattress that I was dreading... but in fact it was very comfortable and we slept really well! Small bedrooms but with some useful cupboard spaces.

The village area was lovely and the setting wonderful. Unfortunately whole experience let down by the poor state of the accommodation (dirty walls, carpets and bed linen; no oven, threadbare sofa) and that the site shut down for adults at 9.30 at night, yet children only clubs ran until midnight! Even when occasional evening entertainment available (2 times in 7 day stay), no bar area.

Onsite restaurant had a published menu, including range of foods (steaks, mussels, pizza etc) yet every night the only available options was a 25E buffet. (admittedly the food was good, but why advertise a menu when you cant actually chose from it?). Compared to eat all can buffet in UK, price seemed expensive (when half of choice was salad based) - search out the restaurant reviews posted by French visitors on Tripadviser!

drinks seemed expensive (but this was our first trip to France so may be common). A 600% mark up price for same beer volume compared to supermarket. expect some mark up, but not this much!

All adult facilities shut at 9.30 (restaurant, bar, no entertainment club) yet children only venues (with dance floors, music, games rooms) stayed open to 12.00!

beware the way the accommodation is marketed. a 3 room house is just that - 3 rooms! 2 bedrooms and 1 kitchen/diner/sofa-bed. Not as could be interpreted as 3 bedrooms!

secluded location. for any of site activities will need car and prepared to travel. (nothing within safe walking distance)

Room Tip: pay for the best to avoid being disappointed with the entry level.
