Enjoyed a lovely 2 night break. (16-18 Dec)

The hotel was comfortable and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and our room was warm and well equipped.

The hotel is perfect for dogs. There is a warm water hose/sink outside for cleaning off muddy mutts. There are also towels in the foyer to wipe down wet paws.

The real gems of this hotel are its staff. They couldn’t do enough for us and our dog. They were attentive, despite being busy.

We look forward to a return visit soon.

Just spent two amazing nights at the Ravenstone. Fantastic atmosphere in authentic surroundings. Loved the large comfy settees in the lounge.
Bar service was excellent. Food was amazing. Staff so friendly and helpful.
Daren’t mention the king size bed! So comfortable we missed breakfast on the first morning!
Cannot wait to go back!

This is one of the most relaxing hotels that I have ever stayed at. The staff do their utmost to make sure ones stay is is memorable, nothing is too much trouble for them. We stayed for two nights, our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and anti-Covid guidelines and procedures were adhered to religiously. The food is nice, the public rooms are comfortable and also delightfully decorated for the festive period. It is so quiet here, it really generates a feel-good effect.
I wouldn’t hesitate to return for another stay.

Was lucky enough to have our wedding reception held here. Everything was perfect, the staff went out of their way to help and were so friendly. All the courses from canapes through to cheeseboard were amazing, everyone loved the food and drink. The room we had was large, massive bed, with chairs looking out towards Sale Fell and Barf Fell. The view changed all the time due to the weather. Main areas in the lounges and bar were very warm and comfortable with open fires and comfy sofa's. We are already looking to go back.
