The airline just gets worse and worse. Nothings on time anymore used to love to fly them now it's a cattle service. Try some one else it's worth paying extra

Plane boarded and ready to go at 5:45 am. One of the overhead bins would not close. Took five guys and 35 minutes to figure out there was a water bottle blocking it.
Even worse, we have been sitting another 20 minutes waiting for someone to secure it with duct tape-still waiting. THIS IS RIDICULOUS no sense of urgency.

I have 1 question. Why am I paying to upgrade my boarding, when multiple people who haven't paid are allowed to board before me? I was boarding A9 and literally 20 people boarded in front of me AFTER the pre-boarders, with excuses like "this 30 year old woman is my daughter." And they're allowed to skip ahead. Then I board, and they've spread out across the front of the plane holding seats for people who are in B and C group pushing those who paid to access those seats first to the middle and back of the plane. Not the first time this has happened, but the last for me.

When I booked my plane tickets, the option popped up to add hotel. I stupidly did this. This transferred my entire trip to be held hostage by Southwest Vacations. It is basically a scam. You can only cancel and get ‘credits’ to book with them again. Was VASTLY overcharged for the hotel when all was said and done (like double!) and had to pay a change fee to change hotels even though the new hotel was cheaper. Never book anything with Southwest Vacations!!! This experience has also made me think I will not likely book air with Southwest Airlines again. After all, if they direct their customers to a company that is very very very scamish, what do they really think of their customer??

It was just amazing to be on southwest airlines the staff were nice and generous and kind but they sometimes have no drinks and snacks.
