2nd October flew home to Perth from Sydney. Seen the ‘Spirit of Australia’ first hand as young Sara (cabin crew) entertained, calmed and relaxed a young passenger, little boy wouldn’t have been more than three years old was unwell and unsettled. While time permitted and as he grew more restless she toured him to the back coming back with treats and Qantas socks for him, it was lovely to see such care given to the little guy.
I enjoyed seeing her friendly face shine towards absolutely everyone that she came into contact with on the flight, an absolute credit to the Qantas team. Young people like this make all the difference, I can assure you. Great customer service and excellent attention to detail. After just a few days in Sydney over the school holidays, I felt so lucky to see such beautiful customer service in front of my two young teenagers, a great example of how to treat others and an amazing example of how you can have human connection through your service to create calm and peace.
