“Ground crew strike in Pisa”

Easyjet messaged us 2 days before our flight was due to say there was expected to be a ground crew strike in Pisa so our flight was cancelled. We were offered the same flight 2 or 3 days later with hotel costs paid but as we had other commitments in the UK we opted to change to a flight from Rome back to Luton a couple of hours earlier than the Pisa flight would have been so that we could pick up our car. We have put in a claim for the train fare to Rome (nearly as much as the return flight cost!) and are awaiting settlement. Both the flight to and from Italy were comfortable and we sat together despite not paying extra to choose seats. I would fly Easyjet again.

Excellent service and flight. My wife is a very nervous flyer but the flight was great and she almost enjoyed it, which is saying something. Staff were great

Flights outward & return were on time. The onboard staff were friendly.

The food onboard, as we all expect, is expensive. Tbh it wasn’t really that good either.

Our flight out to Malaga was on one of the new aircraft with the slimmer seats. They were comfortable and did give you extra room, which is noticeable when you are on an older aircraft (like our return flight) there was much less leg room and the fold down table was uncomfortable.

We haven’t flown with EasyJet for quite a few years. In fact I think the last time was probably when they still gave out numbered boarding cards!

They do like to announce boarding early, really early. The inbound plane hasn’t touched down and the gate is opened. You then have to queue along the jetway waiting to board. We saw the passengers waiting at the top of the jetway when we were getting off at Malaga.

The only real negative I have is this early boarding malarkey. I understand why they do it, so that everyone is ready to board and they can get an on time or even early departure. However as we queued on the jetway at Malaga for our return journey the airport special assistance were bringing passengers in wheelchairs off the inbound flight! Squeezing past a queue of 150/200 passengers. Not very nice for anyone particularly the passengers in wheelchairs.

All in all it was a pleasant journey. Flights left & arrived on time or early, and the staff were friendly.

Would I use EasyJet again? Yes!

outbound I couldn't fault really but the return was very dissapointing. We were delayed and the result was limited food options and they ran out of ice for the drinks. I'd rather wait for ten minutes and get a full service rather than rush and get and get poor service.

first time used easy jet for a while, off putting.this was returning from krakov ,Poland .We thought at first we would be delayed overnight as limited flights to Liverpool..Poor imformation updates did not help..We were given a drink and snack after eventually taking off,very poor as we had not eaten for hours.
