Aircraft is ok... But the usb ports in our row don't work. I asked help from the FA on duty and did not even bother to help or look for options. She just said "there's nothing they can do." Mehhh...

I put in my key chain (Coach Brand) with my car key, my wife's car key and home keys and office keys to in my checked in baggage on top of my clothing, but the key chain with keys gone when I opened my baggage I arrived in my hotel.
My coach key chain was about $40, but car keys ( mine and my wife's ) will be cost high.
I travel many times domestics and overseas, but this is my first exprience.

I flew Cathay Pacific twice from Hong Kong to the USA in the last two months, the experience was really bad. 1. Although the airline asked the passengers to aboard on time during both trips, but kept the airplane grounded for another two hours before they finally took off. Basically, they extended the very long international trips even longer. 2. The delay also caused huge issue for my transit in the USA. 3. On the grounded airplane, condensate water kept dropping on passengers' head. The flight attendant could not do anything but a towel for passenger to wipe head. The only explanation was that the water would stop if the flight took off.

Such poor service reflected the airline's mismanagement and its disregard for customers' well being. I would not recommend it to anyone, if there are other alternative carriers with direct flight from Hong Kong to the USA.

I've flown with many airlines, each one bad experience after another, but Cathay were above them all, top notch! Above all of them. Early check in allowed, friendly and helpful check in staff, easy and smooth ride. Spacious and comfortable seat, plenty to watch on inflight entertainment.

I flew Cathay Pacific from ORD -> HKG -> MNL and back.
I came to Manila for medical tourism.
Cathay Pacific experienced technical difficulties, causing us to leave Chicago late. Upon arriving in Hong Kong, we were met with a new boarding pass, a ~10USD breakfast voucher, and a room at an attached hotel for a few hours.
This delay caused me to miss my medical appointment and pushed my process back a bit.
I understand you should "always fly with a buffer", but not everyone is blessed with a crazy amount of days off.
This delay caused my medical procedure to be pushed back.
I contacted Cathay Pacific, simply asking to move my flight from 8am Oct 5th to 8am Oct 6th with waived fees.
That way I can complete the procedure properly.
Of course, they used a million excuses and are wanting me to pay ~300USD just to move my flight.

I was told it is a VOLUNTARY change of date.
Even though I was forced to stay in Hong Kong overnight INVOLUNTARILY.

This company cares more about made up fees and some barbaric policies that feed off of their clients, than the medical procedures of their clientele.

With this I will never be flying/nor recommending Cathay Pacific again.

If you have a choice, choose another airline that will care about you as a person and less about money equivalent to change at the bottom of a well for them.
