Flown with various airlines but this was definitely the worst. Could not do online check in 24 hours in advance. Went to airport 3 hours ahead to try getting my wife and I seats together but to no avail. I am assuming if I offered to pay, they would probably be able to find us seats together. It is simple ridiculous why AA charges for getting assigned seats. Don't we pay enough for the flight to begin with? There were lots of families separated on the flight due to the airline's greed. Airline said flight was full but soon after called standby passengers and assigned them seats together. Staff at the boarding gates were rude and uncooperative. Leg room and space between passengers on the aircraft is horrible. I am only 67 inches tall and could hardly move an inch in my seat.

This has been one of the worst experiences with an airline. I was not allowed to receive a refund or a credit when puerto rico was under a terrible storm during the week i was supposed to travel and visit my family. I will not recommend this airline to anyone because they don’t accommodate for their customers. The representative told me
to “wait for them to cancel” to receive a refund. I lost $400 because evidently they never canceled the flight even amongst the hurricane that hit the Caribbean and is currently in florida right now.

We asked to upgrade our seats to have more leg room At airport we are told they have seats to purchase I asked again with extra leg room? Confirmed extra leg room so purchase seats. Get in flight no extra leg room so I speak to flight attendant who was rude and just walked away never even followed up.

So we paid for different seats that were confirmed with extra leg room and got the same seats a few rows up - so we paid for NOTHING

We flew from a small airport where the airline employees addressed us by our names, the plane was small so we had to valet check our luggage which we thought would be a hassle but ended being quite easy. The boarding process was not too messy and we had literally no wait on the jet bridge. Plenty of room for our carry ons in the overhead bins, flight attendants were all nice, overall nothing wrong with this flight.

Initial flight from ORF to CLT was almost two hours late due to delayed arrival of incoming aircraft. This was due to a mechanical problem on the ground in CLT--the fuel gauge was faulty necessitating the ground crew to drain all the fuel and then re load the plane so they knew how much fuel was on the aircraft!!!! WOW in this day and age!!!
Well we were fortunate that our schedule had about 3 hours on the ground in CLT so we made the connection to TPA with no time to spare!!! As always we went into Terminal B12 and had a 15 minute hike to Terminal C gate C18!!!! Couldn't have been any further away!!! And now days the airline does not provide motorized transfer for old somewhat lame folks (we're 78 with a variety of maladies!!!!). But we humped our way there!!! It was critical that we make that connection as we were heading home to prepare for Hurricane Ian!!! Thankfully everything went fine from there with on time departure and arrival in TPA. Now we face IAN.
