“Awful customer service”
Review of Aer Lingus

I came home from a holiday in Spain to find my suitcase had been literally thrown around the place. It was broken in numerous places and scratched all over. I tried to contact aer Lingus two days after I got home and could only get a chat bot. On this it said someone would get back to me. After a week or so I hadn’t heard a word so I called aer Lingus customer care. A man told me what to search and what links to follow on the website as it is very hard to find. I lodged a ticket and they got back to me within 24 hours to say because I didn’t follow the correct channels to lodge a ticket within seven days my claim is void. I wrote back explaining that I tried to contact them within two days. No reply. So I called again. The lady was rude and unhelpful so I asked for a supervisor to call me and that was arranged. Unfortunately nobody ever called me. I called again and was met with the same response. No nobody will call me back or reply on my ticket. They are basically just ignoring me

Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience with this airline. Aircrafts are old and uncomfortable. The food that was served during this long flight was impossible to consume.I will never recommend this airline to any of my friends. It is a shame that that this is the best option to travel from CT to Europe. Next time I would rather fly from Boston or New York. I am very disappointed.

All went well. Flights on time. Meal on board was good. Crew friendly.
Transfer at Dublin OK, although a strange gate and a long walk out to the plane.

Recently flew Aer Lingus for the first time and it was very nice. Flight attendants were friendly and polite. Communication from the cockpit to the passengers was excellent. Food was surprisingly good. Kudos especially for Nicola on our return flight from Manchester to Orlando. She was very nice and accommodating. I look forward to our next flight on Aer Lingus and hope it will be sooner than later!

I’m a seasoned traveler but this is the first time flying Aer Lingus. Our flight was cancelled hours before scheduled and we were put on a flight 12 hours later. This totally disrupted our plans and after multiple calls with customer service and being hung up on we had to book on Ryanair for a very high premium. I recommend no one uses this airline….terrible!!!
