This was our 2nd cruise. Our first was with our kids on Carnival with ports of Catalina and Ensenada, Mexico. Not a great experience for us or our kids. This cruise was just my wife and I on Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas. The difference was night and day! The Liberty is a little older, but it didn't show on most of the ship. It still offered all you'd want and more. We splurged on the Ocean View Balcony cabin and feel it was well worth it. The balcony space really opened up the living space a lot! We felt the cabin was very well appointed and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to bring a power strip to offer yourself more plugs for your electronics. Since this was our 25th Anniversary, my wife and I splurged on The Key program. This entitled us to early boarding, a welcome lunch, priority seating at shows, internet services, and more. We loved this program! Just having the internet included made it worth having. But my favorite part was the early priority boarding! When you enter the terminal, you are directed to special lines for Key members to expedite your checkin. When we got to those lines, THERE WAS NO LINE! So AMAZING! We breezed right through the entire checkin process and before we knew it we were in the boarding area. From there, we looked for the Key signs to know where we should sit. It was now about 11:30am. Very quickly, they started to announce boarding for Suite guests and RCCL Club members. No sooner had they finished that announcement, they announced boarding for Key members! There were still 4000 other people waiting to board and we were getting to board before them. It made us feel pretty special. Next, as Key members we were directed to the area where we were allowed to drop off our carry on bags and they would deliver them to our cabin so we wouldn't have to carry them all over the ship with us. This was also pretty cool. Getting on board the ship early is totally worth it because you feel like you have the ship to yourselves before the mob begins. Next, we went to the Key welcome lunch in the main dining room. Everyone else has to hit the buffet or something for their first meal. We got to eat a fine lunch in the dining room. I had filet mignon, mashed potatoes, asparagus, shrimp cocktail and cheesecake! Those were our favorite perks from the Key program. Other than that, the dining each night was very good. Great variety and excellent service. We also tried the buffet, but it was just ok. There are many other places to eat on the ship which are also good. Choppes Grill was probably our favorite, but there is an additional fee to eat here so just be aware of that. The shows were all great, but the ice show was our favorite. We planned excursions at each of the ports of call and would recommend doing that through the cruise line as we did. They make it easy and we were not disappointed. Our cruise experience on Liberty of the Seas was really great and we can't wait for our next cruise with Royal Caribbean!

My husband and I are big cruisers and always get at least a balcony cabin. This trip, we were lucky to have a junior suite. The extra cabin space and large walk-in closet made the trip more enjoyable. We've traveled with other cruise lines but really enjoy the service of Royal Caribbean. The on-board entertainment including the spectacular shows and trivia at the bars are always fun!

I have cruised several Royal Caribbean “of the Seas” ships, including this one. They have taken out many of what used to be public areas and added more cabins. About the only place our family group of 10 could gather comfortably was the dining room after the crowds thinned out. Also, the small game room, if we could find a table. Because of the added cabins, there were many more people than ever before and the Promenade Deck was always packed with people. The little Cafe in that deck had had most of the tables taken out and larger seating chairs out in - ugh! The quality of the food has gone down, but still plentiful. Much of the shuffle board equipment was missing. Our waiter and room attendant were good. I left 3 chargers and paperwork in a small drawer and immediately notified lost and found. They never found it.

Was on the cruise from March 1st to the 8th. Staff was wunderfull all the time and always ready to help. The food was just too delicious, at the dinning room or the buffet, it was always hot and fresh! Room we had was on the back of the ship and on the corner. Balcony was big enough to have the 4 of us sitting and relaxing.

What a great time was had by all even during the big Coronavirus alert. The ship was amazing; beautiful and clean. The staff was so helpful and promoting hand washing as well as hand sanitizing. Our cabin steward, Peter, was most accommodating for special requests and friendly. I was concerned that we would feel claustrophobic in our cabin but that never occurred; it was a non issue. It was beautiful and comfortable. The entertainment was also a class act. The Saturday Night Fever show, the Brothers that were comedians, the ice show and the musical guest playing Lionel Ritchie tunes were all very very good. The only negative was the weight gain but that’s my own fault. Would do again and hope to soon.

This was our first cruise and my husband was extremely apprehensive since he doesn't sit still well. We both absolutely loved it. We were so impressed with not only the ship but the staff, the shows, the bars, the fun! I had thought that the point of a cruise was just to get to your excursions but some of our best times were hanging at the Schooner bar doing trivia contests or singing along with the piano guy later in the evening. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering it and it was clean, clean, clean! they were disinfecting the ship and everyone all the time!
