Make sure you spend a day in the Great Smoky Mountains national park. Pack a cooler and do one of the driving tours, stop at the Sugarlands visitors center to purchase the brochures that tell you what you are seeing in the park. Check out their forum and the Gatlinburg forum for more info. There are several shows in town, get tickets in advance or a least a day or 2 before as some shows sell out early. Look for online coupons and discounts. Click on the Things to Do tab above for more suggestions on things in the area.

Cades Cove is very nice. Make sure you do the Abrams Falls hike it is very beautiful.Fells pretty good to soak your feet in the cold water after the 2.5 miles to the falls.

Do you have any special interests?

Smoky Mountain Knifeworks on the right coming from the interstate is a great place to check out all types and brands of knives. Be sure to check out the exotic rock shop in the lower level.

Dollywood has some great shows, the eagle rehab area, great hot cinnamon bread beside the Mill and lots of fast rides.

The Island has the hypnotizing dancing waters, Pommes Frites spaghetti ice cream and many interesting shops.

The Stampede and Hatfield and McCoys are both great shows, H&M offers beer and apple pie moonshine.
