Kayaking in the area.

We are new to kayaking. Are there any places that we can kayak without worrying about white water in PF area.

I recommend Douglas Lake. H2O Sports rents kayaks or you can bring your own.

I’ve seen folks kayaking in the beautiful Pigeon River but water levels are pretty low now. There is also the creek through Townsend where tons of people go tubing.

I think Fontana Lake would be perfect for kayaking but it’s a bit more of a drive to get to
