Will arrive in town on Nov. 1st. Have seen weather is wet, cool, or cold at that time of year. Do most trucks stay open then? And if so, do mosthave covered places to sit and eat? Cold doesn't bother me, but a soggy meal is not a fun time.
Most of the pods stay open, and many/most have covered areas for eating. I know this to be true for (eg) the SE Hawthorne pod at (?) 11th, and also for at least one of the pods on NE Alberta. Also one on (?) outer Belmont. I don't always pay attention to where I'm visiting (sorry), but there are plenty with sheltered eating.
Yes. They will be open and yes they have covered seating. Life in Portland goes on even during the extended rainy season.
I've visited Hawthorne Asylum and Cartopia (they're 2 blocks apart) in February each year since 2022 as part of going to a Trailblazer game. One or 2 of the food carts would not be open that day at either one. The Asylum has a gas fire pit for warmth and ambiance. February is typically colder and wetter than November.
