We will be spending 3 nights in port Rexton. We will be driving from St. Johns so likely have 2 full days in the area. We have booked whale watching one afternoon and its been recommended we see/do:
Dungeon Provincial Park
Klondike Trail
Cape Shore Trail
Kings Cove/Tickle Pond
Lighthouse Trail
Elliston Puffin Viewing site
Any idea how to fit this all in? Any other suggestions

55 helpful votes Some info. The Cape Shore Trail goes from the town of Bonavista to Cape Bonavista. The Dungeon is a rock formation not far from the cape. Klondike Trail is from Elliston to Spillars Cove, so seeing the Elliston puffins, then hiking the trail may make sense. The drive along route 235 to Kings Cove is very pretty, you can hike to the Kings Cove lighthouse then. It’s Tickle Cove, about 20minutes beyond Kings Cove. Port Rexton is a great community, but about 45 minutes from Bonavista or Kings Cove where your listed activities are.
