FAQ - Clark, Dau, Angeles by bus

Hi everyone,

Here is an update on Clark / Dau / Angeles. hope this will be useful for tourists to Clark and those proceeding onwards.

How to reach Dau / Clark airport from Manila?

A question people often ask is "How do we reach Clark airport (DMIA, airline code CRK)"?

Here is the answer - plus a few photos of Clark, Dau Mabalacat bus terminus, and a list of other places you can reach from Dau.

Step 1 ........Take an aircon bus to Dau (from Cubao, or Pasay).

Bus companies - Victory liner, Genesis, Five star, Philippine Rabbit

(Note : Usually the first bus is at 4 am, last bus at 9 pm)

All buses going from Manila to Baguio, Tarlac, Alaminos, Bolinao go through Dau (also known as Mabalacat). Buses going to Vigan DO NOT pass via Dau.

What next?

Step 2 ..... Walk out of Dau terminus. Next to Jollybee / Mister Donut, there are minibuses going to Clark airport ( a man holding the "Clark" board keeps walking around. You cannot miss him!)

If you wish to go to Field's avenue, SM Clark or Angeles City (pronounced aan-ghay-less), SM Clark, it is best to take a trike from here - costs 70 to 100 pesos (they usually ask for 150 pesos - do pay it if you feel generous - it is our prerogative as a foreigner tourist!)

A note on Dau Bus terminus

Note : Dau Mabalacat is a large bus stand, with space to sit, at least 20 sari sari stores with everything from pepsi to lays to burgers to load for your mobile phone. There is a 24 hour Jollibee just outside on the right and a 24 hour Chowking on the left. It is a very safe place to wait at any time - day or night.

You are at risk of getting back the same day however as you are going via san fernando I assume you will be either taking the jeepneys that go to Dau terminal or Tarlac buses getting off at Dau then airport aircon jeepney to clark so its a case of retracing your steps in the other direction.

If you think you will miss your connection there is a hotel sogo next door to Dau terminal

Yes, bus companies and shuttle services I've contacted pretty much said the same thing. Thank you so much! Renting a car would have been so much easier but I learned you get to know a place more by commuting. :)

Anyway, I agree with the previous comments in here about having so little information in the internet about traveling in the PH. I got in touch with bus companies through Facebook mostly as their contact numbers in their websites are outdated. They reply within minutes and have 24/7 customer service chat if you know their official Facebook pages. Thanks again. This thread was a big help!

contact them . Buses stop in Dau and leave Cubao/Pasay through the night. If you have to wait in Dau there are covered seats and CR's and food

@ joannesetiar its really bad forum netiquette to hijack a completely unrelated thread.

You need to open your own thread and ask questions and you will get better responses.

@ Joan

There is a bus from Dau to baguio every hour, round the clock. This is because most victory liner buses from Manila (Cuba and Pasay) as well as from Olongapo pass via Dau. So you should be able to get a seat on them.

However, the buses tend to be at least half full when they arrive Dau so while it will be easy to get 1-2 seats (sometimes more as some people might disembark at Dau), don't expect to be able to choose them.
