Best and worst casino

What is in your opinion the best and the worst casino in las vegas. Just asking this because I am in Vegas now (8 more days) and I am just wondering why people choose that particular casino to play in ( yes I know about the comps and blah blah blah). So why is one casino the best for you and the other casino the worst....

Here are my choices:

Best : Casino royale: love the vibe and the lowrolling fun there

Worst: Harrah: too big and still so packed

I won more in other casino's so it's just about the feeling

Well if I pick my favorites based on where I play the most, they'd be Downtown; the El Co, D, Main Street Station and Golden Gate.

On the Strip, there are some beautiful casinos that I wish had better rules/limits, e.g. Bellagio, Paris.

Best : TI because of the great blackjack offerings at all bet levels.

Honorable Mention: Cromwell due to 100x odds on craps..some excellent video poker..3:2 blackjack at most tables and drink service that will have you drunker than Cootie Brown if you’re not careful.

Worst: Hooters, Casino Royale and Binions. None offer 3:2 blackjack at any level and are a waste of space. It’s sad how Binions (Horseshoe) has devolved from being a gambling Mecca to what it is today.

Casinos are about gambling. The casino with the best gambling condition is Gold Coast. The best on the Strip is TI.

The worst on the Strip is almost everyone else, including both CET and MGM casinos.

Ktinca, I agree that the gaming at Gold Coast is good, but I put El Cortez at the same level as Gold Coast, as far as good gaming. For dining, it is split between the two -- Gold Coast has a decent low-cost buffet, and El Co has a decent low-cost coffee shop.

Worst: For now, these are the top few that come to mind: Silver Nugget in North Las Vegas. Lucky Club in North Las Vegas. Almost as bad, Wild Wild West on West Tropicana. Maybe the Bighorn should make this list.

Those who list TI and other decent places have probably never visited the ones I've listed as the worst!

Wow, TI has made two best and one worst! I agree it has decent BJ, and I like the donuts upstairs.

Casino Royale has made one best and one worst -- I think the place stinks (literally and figuratively) -- no 3-2 BJ, lousy craps dealers, lousy craps players and the craps table is always mobbed with rowdy drunken people having no idea what they are doing.

That's what makes horse races, I guess.

Bitter, I would never say that the Western was the best! But it is nice for you to suggest it as one of the best.

There was one craps dealer there who was amazing, probably the best craps dealer in all of Vegas. His name was Mike.

And I see his face in the mirror when I shave.
