Howdy,
Visting Indian Rocks Beach in March, are there and Tiki bars close by? And does any one know how far it is from The Pub? Hoping the weather is good when we get there.

It's been a few years since I've been to that area, but I don't remember beachfront tiki bars. It's more of a residential area with condos along the beach. There are restaurants and bars, but not the tiki type. St. Pete Beach to the south (south of Treasure Island) has many hotels that have beachfront tiki bars.

There may be some tiki bars in IRB but I'm not aware of any. Clearwater Beach, or Treasure Island/St. Pete Beach would have plenty. The Pub is in Indian Shores, which will be just a 10-15 minute or so drive from IRB. You might also like Gators bar at http://www.johnspass.com or there is a very active pool/beach/tiki hut scene at http://www.shephards.com on Clearwater Beach, which will be about 15-20 minute drive. And remember the inexpensive beach trolley that goes along Gulf Blvd between all these areas.

The Pub is nearly at the northern end of Indian Shores, and Indian Shores abuts Indian Rocks Beach. Since Indian Rocks Beach is only a few miles from one end to the other, you are no more than 5-10 minutes from the Pub, wherever you stay in Indian Shores.
