I asked this in the Victoria Falls forum but didn't get a response (forgive me if this is redundant, I promise it's the last one like this for a while). Is it possible to book activities in areas like the Okavango or other national parks in Botswana from hotels in cities like Maui or Kasane? It's looking like Victoria Falls would be my best bet, but want to cover my bases.
Usually your hotel can put you in touch with, or has a partnership with, an operator who runs tours. Or you can go direct to that operator. In Kasane you will easily be able to arrange game drives into Chobe and cruises on the river. In Maun (unlikely from Maui, as it's in the middle of the Pacific!) you can arrange mokoro rides, scenic flights etc. Also multi-day safaris are available. Do some googling and email some hotels/operators.
Damn auto correct! I've been to Maui and it was pretty easy to arrange activities there. I'll do some more searching.
