How much does it cost to rent a golf cart or scooter for a day/week/month? Where can we rent it in Playa del Coco? Can we use these vehicles on their highways? For example go from Ocotal Beach to Hermosa or Tamarindo Beach. Are there any restrictions such as only one person on scooter. We will be travelling in early January.

IMHO golf cart might be the best way
Many places to rent them...once in Coco beach check them in person...hard to trust links...since nobody can guarantee if they recent links ?? old links?? who posted them ?

Hi, just wondering if you ended up renting a golf cart last year? If so, where did you rent it from and how was your experience. Thank you.
We were not able to rent one since they had ran out. The golf carts are about 55 US a day but you can not really use them outside of coco. and if you have to go up a steep hill, you may run into some difficulties. If you want to go out further, then I would use a scooter. There is a golf cart rental across the big supermarket on the way to ocatal but you will find many along the main strip in coco. One is not too far from the bank and another place is not too far from the park towards the beach.
The scooters or motorcycles is in a boutique across the field on the main road (closer to the beach) . It`s across Janet grill.
