There are man bus terminals. Where are you going?

You are limiting yourself to white taxi and uber? What about grab and Airport Taxis?

Exact cost is impossible to quote because you don't give a precise destination and even if you did, it depends on time of day (or night) ,weather and traffic density on the day. But I expect it to be less than P400.

Go to the Uber website and use this estimator:

http://uberestimate.com/

Put in your "starting point" and "destination" and you will be provided with an "ESTIMATE" Actual price will depend on traffic at the time.

there is no such place as Pasay City Bus as sadly all the bus companies use their own terminals so you can be sat on a bus waiting till its nearly full before leaving for an hour whilst a few hundred meters down the road another group of people going to the same place as you are doing the same so your next post should be where do I get a bus to...............

Taxi fares can vary so in the last month using GRAB I have paid 151 and 380 pesos to the same destination.

The first from T1 at 11 pm with no queue the second from T3 after waiting over an hour.

Tellow airport meter taxis charge 30 per cent more, coupon taxis who go for a fixed fare cost 100 per cent more and people who approach you offering their services charge up to 1000 per cent more !

Sorry for the confusion, I was looking at taking the victory liner to AC. Online it says they depart from pasay terminal. How much is the taxi cab there? And how much is the bus ride itself? trying to figure out how much money I should convert to cover the round trip and then some.

Also, how late do these buses run for return to manila? my flight(international) back home is early morning at 6:30 from MNL.

About 150 pesos but I suggest five star pasty as closer to airport and on the right side of EDSA. Victory liner have to head away down EDSA until they can use a U turn slot then get stuck in traffic around Taft Ave. They then go past Aurora Bvd where five star have their terminal. Look it up on google maps

Taxi to Pasay and the bus to Angeles will be around 350-400 peso's one way.

Best to stay in Manila the night before your flight home.

Thank you all.

I am thinking of adding another one more day to my trip, resulting in almost a whole day in manila. So I arrive day 1 10 am to pasay victory liner stop and fly out day 2 at 6:45 am.

First, read makati is the place to stay.? How would I get there from the bus stop? Is train an option? How much is it by cab?

Second. Looking for things to do, including souvenir shopping(magnets, tshirts).?

Thank you

Where you stay depends on your interests. If you like historical sites, then look for Ermita or Malate.

MRT is not really an option because the stations are a good walk from Victory Liner and their reliability is questionable. It broke down 3 times yesterday!

Makati is convenient for Victor Liner.

Souvenirs are available in most Malls. Look for KULTURA.

Should cost you less than 200php on metered taxi or Uber/Grab MNL > Pasay. If you take the taxi with fixed price from arrival area it will be more expensive.

Yeah Makati is a nice area to stay. Also look into BGC/The Fort.

Cab is super cheap here. Honestly I wouldn't take public transport here unless you're really on a tight budget or feeling adventurous. I would stick to Uber/Grab too if you don't know the area that well, less chance of getting ripped off, though it can be more expensive during rush hours (surge pricing) and traffic of course.

UBE Express operated from Manila Airport to Pasay City Victoryliner bus terminal 24 hours/day for about 9 months; but has now closed its 8pm to 8am routes. when operating, it and Grand Prix hotel shuttle cost 150 peso each way; taxis want 600 to 800 peso one way; but can be negotiated to 300 to 400 peso depending upon how much luggage you have. do not travel during holiday season, fiesta times or rates can be more than double
