Question

i have a couple of questions ,we fly into Cebu on the 13th of dec & fly out to Palawan on 14th of dec so we will stay close to the airport, we will return to Cebu on the 25th of dec ,then on the 26th of dec catch a ferry to ormoc,questions where can I change money in lapu lapu & with them bringing in new money would it be safer to change at a bank ,2nd question I would like to buy our ferry tickets before we fly to Palawan as its a busy time, last time we where there we had to wait 3 days to get a ticket ,are there outlets in one of the malls fastcat or oceanjet does,nt matter ,thank you

The new money was introduced in 2010. There was a 5 year change over period. Now It is the old money you can no longer use. I see no need to use a bank.

You can change money at the Marina Mall. It is at the end of the airport road.

I personally have been buying my tickets for the last 14 years or so from Jude Ticketing on the top level of Colonnade mall on Colon in Downtown Cebu City. However, there are ticketing agents all over the city. You will find them in Ayala mall and SM Mall too.
