2 days to spare at Port Blair - Ross & Smith or Jolly Bouy?

Hi! I'm planning to travel to the Andaman islands in mid-March. I have 2 days to spend at Port Blair after visiting Havelock and Neil islands. Should I use this time to visit Ross & Smith islands or Jolly Bouy?

Most online reviews state that travelling to and fro Ross & Smith islands from Port Blair take up entire 3 days, including just half a day to spend on the Ross & Smith Islands - can someone please confirm if this is true?

Open to any other suggestions as well! Thanks!

Yes that is true. Ross & Smith Island (actually it is a single island, at low tide it feels as if they are two island separated by a sandbar) is in North Andaman close to Diglipur. The travel involves road and ferry crossing at specific times. Overall 3 days. Ross & Smith and so Jollybuoy Islands are not inhabited, so you cannot live there. Even you will need to carry food and water with you.

Jollybuoy is close to Port Blair and can be covered in 1 day. If you have not covered Ross Island and Chidiya Tapu in your itinerary, you can consider visiting them and the Jollybuoy Island from Port Blair in the spare 2 days. Hope this helped.

Hey. sorry for reaching you late,...Yes, it takes 3 days to visit Ross and Smith Islands. You will get only a half day to visit these islands, one day to reach North Andaman and one more day to come back to Port Blair. It's kind of hectic journey if you are traveling with elder people and children. The Jolly buoy is known for their corals and one day is enough to cover the jolly buoy islands.

Day3 If starting by 1-2 AM from Diglipur then you can reach Port Blair by 10 AM.
