Rec'd. an e-mail from Borgata @ the end of last month of the conversion. I most particularly like that my Express Comps will now be connected altogether.

Per any inconveniences the conversion might cause, they've added some additional Bonus Slot Dollars.

A 12 hour shutdown in the wee hours and early morning should not be that much of an inconvenience to most gamblers. Wondering why a Wednesday, vs a Monday or Tuesday.

Some of us probably recall when the casino's would shut down daily from 4am to 6am in the late 70's/early 80's.

.....And there was that strange weekday in October or November when the casino would not allow gambling on that day - I forgot what that was all about.

I was at Borgata briefly this past Friday (4/16) and it was interesting to see them working on the changeover. Apparently they have to make some kind of hardware changes to each slot machine. They had large sections of the casino roped off, I mean hundreds of machines were taken out of service and were open with their guts out. You would think that it would be a software change at the server level and have nothing to do with each individual machine but I guess that's not the case.

I hope that was not to tighten up those machines? It's well known that under current NJ laws, each machine must be shut down to do that, or to make any payout change.

Just a guess, but perhaps this has something to do with the opening of / working on those slot machines.

"Will my slot vouchers printed prior to April 21, 2021, still work in a slot machine after the integration?

- No, they will not, but you will easily be able to redeem the vouchers at the Main Cashier."
