Hi, never been to Tunisia before but looking to book, the above hotel has come up, what are your honest opinions of this hotel and is it known by a different name? Thank you

Hi Bettyboop,

If you tap Marhaba Club into the search box above you should get some idea about the hotel,

There are lot's of hotels with Marhaba in the title as it just means Welcome,

The review's will be a couple of years old so look at a few.

Hotel website

http://www.marhaba-resort.com/en/marhaba-club-4/

Some very good information about the surroundings as well as the resort on the website.

Good location you chose,in between Port El Kantaoui and Sousse for visits to markets, restaurants, bars, historic and cultural places etc.

Mick

PS

Can i ask who you booked with ?

Your departure airport and the month you go

Lets all hope that the virus has been well cantained by the time you travel.

and that progress in vaccines and jabs will allow people to travel nearly as freely as they did pre covid.

They installed stricter Corona rules yesterday

- curfew starts at 19.00

- all weekly markets are forbidden

- 5 days obliged quarantaine on top of a negative PCR test for everyone that enters the country

- no evenements

All till 30/4/2021

Indeed ,Maenan

I posted that information and some more links on the "Covid Test/quarantine" thread on Thursday.

(Main Tunisia forum page}

Sadly i see little chance of tourism to Tunisia for some time.

They are at present suffering a "third wave"
