El Nido- private boat or tours?

Hey there!

There will be 4 of us in a group, and would love to do island hopping in El Nido next week.

I have heard of Tours A-C,etc. and then, Ive also heard some people doing a private tour. Whats a better option if there's a group of us?

How much is a private boat, and who will you recommend?

Thanks!

If there is a group of you go for a private tour. You dictate the itinerary.

Its a great option but for a couple it isnt the cheapest option but you dictate itinerary and how long you stay at a place. With group(joiner) tours you follow their itinerary. depends what you want to spend.

I was in El Nido a couple of years ago and there is an American guy (named Joe I believe) who runs one of the boat tour places. His little shop is/was just at the junction where there's a bunch of food stands and it was about 150 metres back from the beach. He offered a very reasonably priced combo tour that nobody else seemed to offer and I felt it was great value. Look to see if he's still around and ask him what he can do for you.
