Arriving in the evening to PP, options to get to el nido?

Hi, i land quite late in the evening at 7:05 pm to Puerto Princesa airport.

Ideally i would like to take a van or bus straight away so that i can be in el nido before the next morning as im on a tight schedule, rather than overnighting in PP and going the following day.

What are my best options for Buses or vans at that time in the evening? Most of the info i've found is from years ago and the links lead nowhere.

Roro and Cherry Bus run regular schedules every 2 hours so that is the way I would go. Slower but more comfortable than a van cramped full of people. At least you can get some rest. Get a taxi or trike to bus terminal.

The last Cherry Bus is at 9pm, arriving in EN at approx. 3am.

Thank you for the replies, bus definitely seems the way to go.

You recon i'll be able to make the 9pm bus without problems if i land just after 7?

Most likely providing the flight arrives on time. The terminal/bus depot is about 15-20 minutes. Puerto Princesa is a small city.

Yes no problems. Bus terminal is around 20 minutes away from memory.

RoRo has a bus at 8pm and their last bus is at 10pm, Cherry last bus is at 9pm.

Roro operates a service every 2 hours between 4am and 10pm, Cherry operates a service every 2 hours starting at 5am and the last bus is at 9pm, so effectively there is 1 bus running back and forth between PPS and EN every hour between them.

Be aware that not all bus trips have Aircon, so you need to look at their websites to find out which ones do.

There are plenty of vans leaving Puerto Princesa to El Nido even at night... several are at the airport waiting for passengers.... no problem

I would never ride in a van from the airport at night, they are bad enough driving like maniacs during the day, and even though there may not be much traffic at night, those drivers would probably drive even faster, so for me, the bus would be a far safer option.

I agree with Glen. The even better option would be wait until the next day and go with Daytripper Shuttles.

Yes, Daytripper would be another option for the following morning, if you can hold off arriving in El Nido late the next day, so you could book into a cheap accommodation for the night, and Daytripper will collect you from your room prior to departing for EN the next morning, arriving about 6 hours later.

I was just looking in the Daytripper schedule, and i noticed that some days Daytripper has no vans going to El Nido, but the next day they will have 2 vans (probably to catch up) and also their regular departure times for all their trips now varies from day to day.
