Travel Fund will only be credited into it if the canceled ticket is bought at regular rate.
I doubt many people will buy the air ticket at regular price.
Thanks. However, even tickets bought on regular rate is apparently hard to put on the travel fund online, or even not possible, as there is no icon in the cebupacificair website which enables one to use that in buying another ticket using the travel fund.
So, I would like to know if indeed someone was ever able to use the travel fund to buy another ticket!!!
Edited: 10 years agoAccording to the website, you need to apply for the travel fund and wait for your application to be approved. I think you will have to do it at their office. Redemption is also done at the ticketing office or their call center.
I have no experience with the travel fund and this info i got from surfing through cebpac website.
Edited: 10 years agoThanks...perhaps I get an answer from someone who really did it.
Thanks.
I've done it more than a year ago so my memory could be a little rusty regarding the process. You can cancel your flight and put the amount of your ticket in the so called travel fund online. You have to retrieve your booking online then along side the online check-in and the prepaid baggage options there's a tab to cancel your flight. When you find a new flight just book it normally as you would do online and when you reach the payment page choose the travel voucher/travel fund option (sorry I can't remember what it is called).
