There has also not been any developments within the Ministry of Home Affairs to determine visa requirements, mandatory test or arrival quarantines, etc. The opening of the airport was mostly done to better address the thousands of Nepalis still overseas and the few thousand tourists still here the government is forcing to leave.
It's a step in the right direction, but I would not look at it as a reopening of tourism just yet. Far from it.
