Now preparing for travels to Bhutan and Nepal - Katmandu based

I am a textile addict. And, a jewelry designer. I create jewelry with pendants and elements from my travels. We don't mind making a day trip to find some unique spots or markets to shop.

I would love any suggestions.

Hi

The first thing that comes to mind is the bead market just off Asan Tole in Kathmandu. While the beads aren't special in any way they are what Nepali women traditionally wear with their saris. Definitely worth a look for that aspect of it alone.
