I was considering doing the Ghandruk trek from Phedi and have reached out to a few trekking companies. One suggested doing the trek with 2 overnights, while the other mentioned 3 overnights. Is it better to do 3 overnights to really enjoy the trek and will I be rushing with only 2, or does it matter?

Ghandruk is about an hour’s trekking from the roadhead at Chane – So you can go there by jeep / bus from Pokhara and trek and hour, overnight and go the same way back – Or go as suggested from Phidi

But – My own suggestion would be to trek from Kande to Tolka, overnight there, then the next day trek to Ghandruk, overnight there, then the next day trek down the one hour to Chane and back to Pokhara

– OR –

Trek from Kande to Tolka as above, then trek to Jhinu Danda the next day and visit the beautiful hot springs there, overnight and then the next day trek to Ghandruk, overnight there, then the next day trek down the one hour to Chane and back to Pokhara

If you have the time, the 3 night trek is the nicer option

Good Luck and Happy Safe Trekking
