Tailored suits in Vilnius and surrounding areas.

Hi all,

Can anybody recommend good tailors that would stitch-to-measure mens' suits in Vilnius and surrounding areas?

Also, has anybody experiences with prices, i.e. just the stitching prices please?

Thanks. Any advice would be appreciated.

Kind regards.

Only to stitch? Why then you need necessary good tailor - any decent tailor can do that. Prices typically are based on "product", now you need a certain service, so the price will be negotiable. Unless they are very busy and don't want to bother, then the price may be rather high and non-negotiable.

And if you say then "ok, but where?", i'd say that "where the most convenient for you", i mean location. Vilnius is not a dot but some area, and which location is convenient or inconvenient for you i can't know. Tailor should be chosen depending on convenience to reach. You say "or surrounding areas" - what sense to look for a tailor on the opposite edge of Vilnius if you can find it much closer to you? It's enough of them eveywhere across the city.

Hello!

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I should have clarified. What I aim to do is this: Choose the fabric or bring a few of my own, get the tailor to measure me, and then make the suit. So, I am looking for a tailor that creates / makes suits, i.e. bespoke tailoring.

I plan to visit Vilnius, and I know that a lot of big companies have their stitching done there, which gives me the understanding that bespoke tailoring at good prices might be possible there.

Vilnius, I understand is the capital. I am flexible to travel in the area.

Well, big companies don't make small amounts of suits (or anything else) cheapper than small companies (+/-). As for the prices, eg this company http://www.vyriskirubai.lt/kontaktai.html is raher big and makes suits bespoke, cost from 500 Lits for 1 suit. Once i wanted to order some thing, but it turned out that they use their own templets, so since i wanted rather sophisticated thing they never tried to make before, they didn't agree to accept the order (or it would cost a decent amount of money). But that probably doesn't applies for the suits. Location is easily accesible, but is inside of the big industrial complex.

This studio www.siuvam.lt/kainorastis/drabuziu-siuvimas/ makes suits, cost from 700 Lits for 1 suit.

There is a small company almost in the centre, you simply go there and deal directly, street address Pamėnkalnio street 9/7, it is in the middle of the street, the building is on the corner, the studio is located slightly lower street level (separate entrance from the street) . Prices should be similar.

There usually are some tailors in the bigger shopping centres, eg "Panorama", probably should be in "VCUP", "Akropolis" , also there is one (for sure) at "iki-Minskas" (Žirmūnų street), just you have to deal directly and personally.
