I was driving too fast and I received a double ticket where I was "taken" 12 points.
how the points system in Slovenia works? Can I get back these points?
In Slovenia when you collect 18 points you lose your drivers licence for good.
You can do safety driver's course which takes 3 days and in that case you will erase 4 points. You can do the course every 2 years.
If not, within 2 years your points will be erased.
Edited: 3 years agoTHX!!!
Just a question: how can I join a safety driver's course?
What is more, where can I find the number of points I lose when I drive too speedy?
Oh, to be honest for foreigners i dont really know.
For the safe drivers lesons we have to go to the drive center in VRANSKO, where AMZS has its headquarters. AMZS is Slovenian Auto Moto Association. You can probably get information about your questions if you ask.
AMZS safe driving center: https://www.amzs.si/cvv/en
And your second question - those information is held by the police. But I (for my status) can check it trough special slovenian website eUprava, where you have to have digital certificate on your computer and with that you can then request the information.
Its a little bit confusing :D
Maybe the easiest is that you keep track by yourself. From two years when you got them they will be erased. Just dont get up to 18 :D
lost other 3 èpoints :(
What does it happen wher u reach 0?
