I was wondering if you ever found a good charter company. I am also having the same issue, trying to find a charter from POP to PUJ.

I did! I’ll have to find the company. My husband is a pilot also so here’s what our experience was... the plane looked a bit rough and wasn’t what you’d get in the states. It was a Piper Cherokee 6. Both flights had a copilot also. My husband talked a lot with the pilot who was very experienced, over 3,000 air hours and is also an instructor. The flight was tight and not a ton of room but it’s a third world country and we went in knowing it wasn’t a jet, it’s a small plane.

Plane would be a Piper Navajo and no copilot but if I want a copilot they can arrange that. What would you and your husband suggest? The company that gave me this info is Dominican Shuttles.

Did you happen to find a good travel option from PUJ to Las terrenas?
