where do you catch the bus?
Auckland?
Thank you.
If you actually go to the booking site it will say
InterCity Sky City Bus Terminal
102 Hobson Street, Auckland CBD
However we are not google, we are real people.
Kia Ora Patrice,
Yes, the InterCity terminal sits just behind the SkyCity hotel, on the corner of Hobson and Victoria Street. Easy to find, and Hobson Street is a one way system. You will see several InterCity coaches lined up to depart there. Plus Great Sights coaches leave from the same terminus, and the Sky Wave airport shuttle uses the same coach terminal.
Nothing flash by overseas standards, but functional. A ticket office, small cafe and locker storage there. All the best for your Bay of Islands visit.
I've been to Basel. They are obviously natives of there😐
tried looking it up now and website doesn't even have option of paihia...Russell is there but no bus scheduled?????
I jsut put in Paihia and was given 3 buses every day leaving Auckland at 7.30am 1pm and 5.30pm.
None on Christmas day of course.
There are none showing to Russel but you get a ferry from Paihia to Russell. It is a long way round by road, I do ntot know if there is a bus ssrvice
Edited: 2 years agoThere are no public bus services to Russell. Only the school buses that serve Rawhiti and Whangaumu. There are local tours on Russell though.
To reach Russell, either take the apssenger ferry from Paihia wharf, or go across on the car ferry from Opua to Okiato.
InterCity and its forerunner Northliner coaches have long served Paihia. It's a tourism hub for the Bay of Islands.
thanks...maybe it was searching on not the az site of Intercity..anyhow looks like limited bus to and from..so reevaluating maybe another day trip instead.
You can also fly with Air NZ Link to Kerikeri (BOI airport). Check the Air NZ domestic schedule. Rental cars at Kerikeri airport. Taxis and shuttles from the airport to Kerikeri, Haruru Falls and Paihia. Local tours available.
