Hi there, just a couple of questions, can anyone recommend a good place to have a Christmas dinner in Paihia and will the ferry ⛴ be running on Christmas day? Cheers

Do you mean the passenger ferry from Russell wharf to Paihia wharf? Or the car & foot passenger ferry from Okiato to Opua. Both are very popular services, and will operate as normal on the public holiday. Email the Paihia visitor information centre to find out what the Christmas timetable will be for both ferries that day.

A couple of suggestions for a Bay of Islands Christmas lunch/dinner are Duke of Marlborough hotel in Russell (close to the Paihia ferry), and Copthorne Waitangi hotel near the Waitangi Treaty Grounds.
