Getting married in Malta- help

Hi All

I am getting married in Malta this year.

I have wedding planners but we rushed through the decision making process and ended up paying a a small fortune for wedding planners that only coordinates.

Has anyone has any experience hiring assistance for your wedding. Rather than pay the wedding planners I thought I could hire help.

Thank you

Sarah

I suspect that there won't be many who can help you here and you might have to do a bit of research yourself. What might help is a Maltese site like this one that lists specialist wedding suppiers that you can contact directly. You could always post back to ask about any companies you are interested in to see if anyone has used them.

Malta is really quite easy to navigate and is awash with wedding planners. I'm sure you can do most things yourself though, plus get guidance from your wedding venue manager?

Wedding Planners simply inflate all costs, taking commission from suppliers too. Obviously they have to make a living but you may with a bit of courage, self-arrange.

The Wedding forums are your best bet Just be a bit wary as you go.

Look up wedding planners or weddings in Malta in the search box above and send a personal message to some of the people who have got married in the last two years.

You send a pm by clicking on the persons name and another box appears then send them your questions the only people who will see them are yourself and the person you send it to.
