Hello my fiancé and I have decided to have our honeymoon in Greece beginning of September!

We will spend 4 days in mykonos and then travel by ferry to santorini port. We will be staying in Aspa Villas in Oìa. Advice on how to get to Aspa Villas from the port with luggage?

Recommendations on must dos while there and best transportation options.

Thank you!

There's a green 'Things to Do' ribbon at the top of the page for ideas (not visible on a mobile device).

Have a look and make notes on what you're interested in. Group them by area - perhaps a day in Oia, one in and around Fira, head to the beach, Akrotiri, Pyrgos, etc.

Regular suggestions are volcano boat trips, hiking or winery tours.

The port bus will take you into Fira where you can catch the next bus to Oia. Aspa Villas is next to the Perivolas Market and across the street from the Anemomilos Hotel. As you're entering Oia look for Vazeos Car Rentals on the right as a landmark. Perivolas Market is ahead about 100 yards on the left. Taxis are also available from the port for around €30

Just take a taxi from port,it is worth it. Look into a sunset cruise ,we did Santorini sailing with Captain Ted on the Dreamcatcher. You will love it. Visit the black sand beach of Perissa, Chill and enjoy the sights and the fabulous food

The port bus only goes to Fira. From Fira you will take the next bus going to Oia. Port to Fira: 20 minutes. Fira to Oia: 25 minutes.

There will be taxis or shuttles at the port that can arrange to take you to your hotel. We paid 30 Euros for 2 people for a taxi to Oia. Transportation is pretty tough as there are limited numbers of taxis and the busses are crowded. But staying in Oia, you don’t really need to be anywhere else! Oia is definitely the place to be!
