Chianti Region

My wife and I have been to Florence and Tuscany several times. We have never really explored the Chianti region in depth except for going to The larger hill towns. We are interested in taking 2-3 days in the fall and just check out the vineyards and smaller, lesser known places like Greve, Radda etc. We are interested in what places, vineyards and activities are memorable. This area isn’t discussed that much in the guidebooks. Any input is appreciated.

One of my most memorable moments in Italy was visiting Dario Cecchini in Panzano. He is a butcher with a very large character who is more than willing to talk to you about BEEF and MEAT. Go have a free glass of wine there and chat with him. Great guy.
