According to their website they are flying as from the second half of April but quite a few flights, including some in June, are already showing as sold out.

Have you looked at https://www.lochlomondseaplanes.com/classic-island-discovery-tour-booking-calendar

Train to Balloch then taxi.

They appear to be operating from 26th April.

Edit - bit earlier than that.

Where you stay depends on what your plans are, are you spending all your time in the Loch Lomond area?

Assuming that Scottish lockdown rules allow it by June (and it will be tight):

The planes use Duck Bay which is just north of Balloch, where there is a railway station. My last trip to anywhere of note was to that side of Balloch.

Get the train from Crewe to Glasgow Central. Go downstairs to the low level platforms and get a train to Dalmuir and then change to a Balloch train - the Glasgow suburban network is quite frequent.

I stayed on the edge of the village getting close to Duck Bay at the Queen Of The Loch www.queenofthelochpublochlomond.co.uk there are also a couple of guesthouses and B&B that side of the station, and another hotel next to the station. Without luggage you can walk to Duck Bay from that side of the village, the old A82 goes past the Queens car park entrance (the traffic will be on the modern A82).

As said, are you staying around Loch Lomond?

If not, then train from Glasgow Queen St Low Level to Balloch. (If a Sunday from Glasgow Central Low Level).

Trains every 30 minutes taking 50 mins, off peak return is only £6:30.

At Balloch Station there are usually a couple of Taxis sitting for the less than 10 minute journey to the Seaplane Jetty.

Just to pick up on Steve’s point about Dalmuir Station, the usual easy change is actually Partick, step off the train and stay put, the Balloch train will be along shortly, unless as I mentioned it’s a Sunday!
