Do any of you know how bad it might be when there are SIX ships in port???
Thinking of doing a day at the Westin, if the beach clubs will be totally swamped.
Six ships will mean a lot of people. There is a limited amount of places for them to go as we have a small land mass. If possible I would go with the hotel pass.
Doing a day at the Westin as a non staying guest is most likely not possible. Years past during slow season they did allow this but not for the past at least 2 years. Had a friend on a cruise 3 years ago who reserved day passes to Westin via some online site only to arrive and be denied access. His money was refunded, but it was still a big disappointment and then added hassle to waste their time and decide where to relocate.
Thank you all so much!
I did know that day passes might not be available unless maybe it was a slower time. We are thinking of first week of Dec... I thought I have heard of people contacting the hotel directly and having some luck.
We are also thinking of booking StingraySailing if this is an option that would work???
Maybe there are a certain number of vessels doing these tours, no matter how many cruise ships are in port.
If you want to get a day pass at the Westin, call them directly on their 345 number, not the 800 one and see if that would be an option for the day that you'll be in port.
If not, book a trip to Sting Ray Sandbar with your cruise line so that you won't miss the ship in the afternoon.
IMHO, don't try to do both on the same day. Be on island time!
