Manuel at the pool was great or Manuel at the pool was excellent
Appears in every single post review.. hmm ?
23 of the last 25 reviews for Condado Vanderbilt are fake.
They are not written by travelers
They all have the same exclamation points, number of sentences, words, etc
They are so clueless they are say" Manuel at the pool was great or Manuel at the pool was excellent"
They are all new accounts
Total joke TA
3 more fake reviews posted this morning..
Ok... We have no control over the reviews usage. Best to contact Trip Advisor directly.
We did contact TripAdvisor, no response.
And the fake reviews are still posted, it's obvious that TA doesn't seem to care about the blatant fake bot reviews, unless Condado Vanderbilt is paying TA for them??
Good revenue stream option-
If the reviews don't break any of TripAdvisor's review guidelines, then they will stay up on the listing page. Perhaps someone at the hotel *might* be offering incentives to TA members to write reviews? Very hard to prove *fake* reviews.
These recent, one after another, "glowing" reviews of Condado Vanderbilt are all fake, and not written by travelers. Same number of words, sentence structure, and overuse of the word "Amazing!"
Condado Vanderbilt has turned into a 1-star hotel and they know it, so they bought and paid for fake reviews, which again is fairly obvious when they are have the statement...
"Manuel at the pool was great or Manuel at the pool was excellent" (would a human actually write that review after review??? )
These reviews do not follow TA guidelines, joke
Well, I think that all you can do is to report each individual review. Click on the 3 dot menu, then select a reason and fill in the required text box explanation. Review moderation is considered a private matter between Tripadvisor and the reviewer, so they won't discuss it with you or tell you the outcome of their 'investigation.' If you see the reviews removed, then you know they agree with you.
It's probably not worth the bother to report all of the 5 dot reviews, but that's really up to you. Lots of first time reviewers, so it does look suspicious (in addition to the multiple Manuel at the pool comments).Edited: July 27, 2021, 6:20 am
The fake reviews continue by people all posting their 1st review at Trip Advisor
They are all so obviously bot constructed, it really is sad that TA wont do anything about it even after it has been flagged
All we can say is Manuel by the Pool must be the hardest working guy in San Juan, if he even exists...lol
