I am pretty sure this used to work, but I see comments of other users going back up to 10 years with the same issue - and honestly I think TA is not so user friendly anymore so I use it less and less. So, maybe it works on the mobile app.
But on the computer, I don't see the option to zoom to an area and just show the restaurants there. Is there something I am doing wrong...?

When TA stopped using Google, the maps took a real turn for the worse!
I would not trust the accuracy of the maps that TA now uses ~ period.

Edited: 1 year agoUsing .co.uk the maps used are Google and I can zoom in and ‘Search this area’ for restaurants, hotels and attractions.
I start from a listing page, not from the ‘all restaurants’ page, I don’t like the map!

agree - its not user friendly any longer like it used to be.
I've just been trying to view restaurants in an area of Valencia and it's showing 4! Ridiculous and simply not worth using
The TA maps have never been reliable.

365 helpful votes I agree with RT. I found the TA maps so frustrating I gave up using them years ago. Google Maps is much better.
Many places, are in the incorrect location, on the maps, don't rely on TA maps.
