We shared a lovely tasty sandwich, really generous portion. Then we could share a caramel slice, too yummy. The coffee was good too. The service friendly and helpful.

If you are after a relaxing short break and fancy a great coffee and wonderful homemade sausage roll then this is a great place. The staff were friendly although they were slow in getting sausage roll to me as nearly finished coffee when it turned up. ( not the end of the world) a little bit pricey but I think worth it. Lots of choices food wise so pop on in when near by as worth it. Good job guys 👍😎

I love Excelsior as the quality of the food and coffee is always first class. As a fellow Shenton Park small business Excelsior Deli makes the perfect meeting place for us too - i just wish I could get out of the office more often! It's a full 10/10 from me to Robin, Linda and all the team :-)

Popular for working types for meetings, and parents with a pram. Easy parking options. A skip and hop away from a grand neighbourhood park/lake - so for those who need a yummy and healthy takeaway of food and fruit juices - this is it!!. Decent coffee and brekky and lunch menu options for dine in. Service is fast. If there were tables in full sun and outlook to green ambiance - this place would be so perfect compared other cafes around town.

A quick breakfast with outstanding coffee. Managed to beat the rush. The scrambled eggs & bacon in a turkish roll was excellent. Staff are friendly. Maybe a little slow, but who cares?

This is a good cafe but lacks "something" to make it great. Not sure what it is. Coffee is OK. Staff are OK but not dynamic. The cafe is a little crowded, bit noisy but nothing bad.

Used to be a regular here, but have consistently seen the managers be rude to customers and give poor service. Coffee was below average on a good day. Ridiculously overpriced food. Little pantry is just down the road and much better overall.

The staff here make this place a joy to visit. The girls at the till are so friendly and lovely and know all the locals by name. Coffee is tip top and the cabinet food is delicious. Breakfast menu is simple (and only goes til 12!), but everything is beautifully fresh and they're happy to accommodate changes to menu items. It's not cheap, but not much in Perth is. Only problem is it isn't open on a Sunday!

I bought a couple of things to takeaway which were delicious. Friendly service and a good range of choices that were a little different to the usual cafe offerings. My tuna, egg and olive toastie was delicious! Didn't try the coffee on this occasion.

First visit to oz from dubai and first visit to excelsior. Great little cafe seemed to be very vibrant with good food and friendly staff. Will be vack before we go home

A late lunch and the toastie was excellent, as was the coffee. Smart fit out with different styles of seating and staff were really on the money.

Stopped here as it was on my way between work locations, the service was extremely slow as the three staff behind the counter were talking amongst themselves about practical jokes completely ignoring me at the till, the cashier actually walked off after the conversation withouts serving me. Eventually he arrived back, asked my order and left me to use the eftpos machine unsupervised. When he finally returned he asked if I had taken the receipt and accused me of taking his copy! Another staff member came over and noted the receipt hadn't even printed yet and was jammed in the machine! He didn't apologise or acknowledge his mistake. Finally he put my order in the bench, said 'this is yours' and walked off again! Between the rude service, immature wait staff and cold coffee I wont be coming back again.

Popped in for coffee and a bite at 1215 on a Saturday, just missing the midday breakfast cut-off. Looking for gluten free, although they had nothing on display, they quickly offered me a GF toastie, and I hungiy accepted. This is the kind of service that divides a good place from an average place. An excellent ham, cheese and tomato toastie hit the spot and the coffee was good. Thanks girls!!

I have been to Excelsior Deli quite a few times now. Kudus to the chef as food is consistently delicious with plenty of salad . I am sure most of food will get a tick from national heart foundation and a big tick on taste.
However somehow the service is consistently poor. Smile seem to be missing , order always gets mixed up, need to ask for cutlery and staff seem to be always too busy to serve the customers. If you order food , coffee and something sweet , they would forget to bring part of the order.
I generally don't like to make negative comments but my last experience was so bad that i have to mention it . I ordered salad with no dressing and of course it arrived with dressing. when I brought it to their attention , they apologised , took it back to the counter , cleared some of the pieces on the top and brought it back ! with dressing underneath and on the side of plate !! Not quite salad without dressing , is it?
