Bacco has appeared on the scene relatively recently and is quickly getting a reputation for very good food, an extensive Italian wine list and most enjoyable ambiance. Booking is recommended as the dining room was almost full on the night of our visit. Bacco sent us reminders of our booking which we appreciated. The welcome was friendly and professional as we were quickly taken to our table, given menus and the wine list, asked for our preferred water and informed of the special of the day. The menu provided a diverse choice of Italian style favourites with some interesting variations. The veal polpette and the fritto misto both were very tasty as was the rabbit pappardelle and seafood risotto. The serves were generous.
The wine list included an extensive range of excellent Italian wines to choose from.
The Wait Staff were most attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Prices were reasonable.

A beautiful cosy restaurant with ultra attentive staff who know their menu and were fabulous at recommending paired wines, which by the way were delicious!
I went with my partner and we ordered wait staff recomendations and loved every dish.
The food was fresh, the flavours were amazing and the dishes were all beautifully presented.
A great place for an intimate dinner or with a party of friends. You will not be disappointed.
We will be back for sure!!!👌

After a confusing miscommunication on the family and not the restaurant's part for our group booking, the welcome, the ambience, our young but experienced Roman waitress, the delectable dishes and one of the most extensive Italian wine selections I've seen this side of the equator in a loooong time, all I can say is hats off to you Alessandro and team.
Excellente e mille grazie.
You made our family celebration a night to remember and Nanna even gave it the thumbs up- not an easy achievement.
So glad we have a 5 star neighbourhood dining experience in the burbs, my only regret is that others will soon find out about it🙊🤫.

This newly fledged restaurant has a few teething troubles. I would like to suggest some pointers to improve the customer experience:
1. Install sound baffles so that customers can hear themselves speak (and others).
2. Padded, comfortable chairs would be nice
3. Train your waitstaff to have at least a skerrick of a smile for customers. A sour, tight lipped countenance does not endear the place to paying customers
4. When a customer wishes to return a dish for whatever reason, they do not require a heated 'explanation' of the dish.
5. Salt and pepper is necessary on the tables.
I recommend perhaps trying this place in about 6 months, but check the reviews beforehand, as I doubt these pointers will be observed.

Really delicious and authentic food, top service. The cotoletta was great. Wine list is quality. Highly recommended anytime

We have been searching for a local restaurant similar to those easily found in Italy. Tonight we had a lovely surprise at Bacco in Shenton Park. It is a restaurant that anyone would enjoy because of the quality of the food which is cooked simply using the freshest of ingredients. My pink snapper was perfection and the risotto was sublime. Conversation flows easily in the intimate atmosphere as the staff serve efficiently and discreetly. We look forward to returning. In fact although we don’t live locally it could certainly become our ‘local’.
