What ana amazing find: Switzerland has quite a few Thai (inspired) restaurants but to find such an authentic Thai restaurant in Meisterschwanden is a surprise: an extremely positive surprise!!!
The vibe, the staff and the food are all like in Thailand. None of the quasi-Thainess but the authentic real thing!! What a great find: the food really was amazing!! Can’t wait to try all the other dishes on the menu!!

We had the menu which is included in our hotel package. The menu set are good combinations and authentic. The staffs are friendly with service mind. I highly recommend anyone who would like to have Thai dinner with the authentic Thai taste and atmosphere.

Beautiful Thai restaurant located inside the Seerose Hotel, very friendly staff, interesting wine list with good selection of Swiss and international wines, a few varieties of extra curries in the menu and some other vegetarian dishes would make it perfect, by the way I really appreciated what I ate, price is correct.

While staying for the second time in the Seerose Resort & Spa we booked a table at this Thai restaurant in advance. Last time it was fully booked when we wanted to have dinner there so this time we were prepared. So our expectations were set high.
The restaurant is well decorated and in Asian style. The staff is Asian too. We took a menu as all the dishes also were mentioned on the a la carte menu. No differentiation.
As a starter we had the variation of appetizers like springrolls, satay, deep fried shrimps. The appetizers were accompanied with chili sauce, peanut sauce and a sauce with fresh cucumber. After this we had as next starter a salad with pompelmouse. Tasted good but the name salad didn’t match the dish. It was very tiny...
The main course were shrimps in a slightly hot sauce made of black beans (very tasty), chicken in a sweet sour tomato sauce with pineapple and other vegetables and roasted beef in a mild curry. Together with cooked yasmin rice. You can order fried rice or noodles but then you have to pay extra. As desert there was mango sorbet with fresh mango and fried rice with coconut.
We choose French rosé wine which was very good.
Dinner was nice but next time we prefer the Cocoon as restaurant while staying at the Seerose Resort & Spa. More special.

I have had dinner many times in Samui-Thai. Each time they surprise me with something new. The service is excellent. The food is outstanding and the athmosphere could not be any better. I can only reccommend this place to anybody who like Thai cuisine.

Hmm i dont know what to say actually , interior was fantastic but the food was not that great, i dont think they have a taxi chef in the kitchen and the food didnt really taste anything, pretty overpriced as well.

a very nice an cosy thai restaurant. Perhaps already a bit too European. But nevertheless, you will enjoy. Soup such as the Tom Yum Soup... Super!

Very nice Ambiente, good service and good Food.
They serve various dishes, also vegetarian, with various Levels of spicyness. Allthough adapted to the European taste it is surprisingly authentic. Personally I find it a bit high priced.

I appreciate getting Thai food in Switzerland is a bonus, but the pricing int his restaurant are unjustified.
As a business owner in Thailand and frequently there, I do not see justification on Thai food ingredients could warrant such prices. Taste was amazing, but it needs some rationalization of cost to truly offer hotel guest and locals a chance to experience Thai cuisine.

The Restaurant Samui-Thai is outstanding. Thai food at its best and for me personally, the food was better than in Thailand, at five star hotels and good restaurants.
The Vegetarian Menu is suitable for vegans. The presentation is beautiful with orchids and a most delicious menu with 3 main courses.
The setting is special at night with lanterns & bamboo, with a lake view from outside on the terrace and inside the restaurant is extremely beautiful too!
The service was excellent and the manager Jochen Sandkuhl is a winner!
Thank-you Samui-Thai. Very highly recommended!

The service is very slow and poor, when you finally get the food it reminds you of 30 years ago-plenty of fried, no zest and no spices. The room is masssively overheated. Authentic? No

What a quality! Great Thai food at the Samui Thai. The staff is very friendly, the service fast and very professional. The big surprise is the wine list at the Samui, the choice is tremendously large and the prices are incredibly low! This is a real WOW!

Beautiful setting in a very nice hotel at the lake.
The food was good but unfortunately we were seated on a table that, after sunset, did not have any lights, therefore we barely saw what we were eating. A pity.
Overall a mixed experience for us but I understand why a lot of people like this place.

After sunset, the only sources of lights are candels, which provide a rather romantic athmospere. We do understand, that this is not to everybodys liking.
