After a long drive from Darwin my family enjoyed a great dinner at the Kakadu Lodge and Caravan Park. We were staying at Anbitik across the road at the restaurant at the park was recommended by them. It was a great recommended, the barra was amazing and for Jabiru the prices were very reasonable.

Reasonably priced campsite near the main information centre of Kakadu. Lots of shower and toilet facilities and big swimming pool. Powered sites available.

If you like barramundi without texture or favour on top of soggy chips on plastic chairs surrounded by noise, this is your dream restaurant! Seriously, the famous Barra and chips were overpriced at $32 given their very ordinary cooking etc. Also, if you are vegetarian it's almost tough luck - gnocchi or nothing! We asked for a Greek salad since... More

We had dinner at the bistro here twice while in Kakadu though we weren't staying at Kakadu Lodge. The food was good with kids meals available. Meals weren't cheap but the servings were really generous. Wonderful to be able to sit and have a drink (could only buy alcohol if eating a meal) and meal by the pool while the... More

I give this place 3 stars because the rooms where we stayed were expensive considering they don't have bathrooms or showers in the room. The positives were good AC, which is needed most of the year and a large size refrigerator. The camp kitchen was ok, although it lacked a fridge. The communal bathrooms were large and there were plenty... More

We stayed a couple of nights at the Kakadu Lodge and Caravan Park in Jabiru at the end of August. The sites are a choose your own adventure-type setting so that was kind of a fun way to do it. We had a powered site, it was a bit snug but our neighbours were friendly and quiet enough so it... More

Get the grilled barramundi! We stayed in a cabin here and ate here both nights. Lamb chops were also good. Pizza not to my liking because it had BBQ sauce instead of red sauce, but the toppings were good.

This is an amazing park, everything you would expect in a caravan park. We stayed three nights here. Facilities fabulous, restaurant is set beside the pool in the centre of the park. Pool cold but a central pivot in the circular design of this park. Love the way this park is set out but BEWARE..... DON'T SET UP ANY WHERE... More
