First impressions are deceiving. It looks like a building behind a car park ... but once inside it's a lovely place. It isn't fancy but it doesn't try to be. A good variety of cold booze and a modest kitchen that serves simple but delicious tucker. The view out the back are lovely too. I didn't even know you could... More

Was staying at the hotel and the bar there was reall soulless. Asked the guide if there was any other place to drink/ eat in town and he told us to come here. You have to "join" the club as a visitor and you get free admission. This is a lively spot and I really liked the roof "fans" -... More

Jabiru is the biggest town in Kakadu, but there are not many places to eat at. We came here one night had had a nice evening. We hadn't realised the restaurant was on the other side until about an hour sat in the bar. Staff were lovely. The food was nice and you can sit inside or out to eat.... More

It's a club so you have to become a "member" (free) and show ID. The food is pub food but our meals were so well prepared, definitely done by someone who cares. I've had worse for more money in the big cities. The dining inside has tube lights and not much atmosphere but outside (deck / lawn) at the lake... More

Love the Sports and Social club in Jabiru, the staff are lovely, and the meals fantastic. Personal Fave is the chicken schnitty. Recommend going on a Friday night as they also have a meat tray raffel.

JS is an average club, which is OK as there are few options in Jabiru. The large rear deck is a good option to have a beer and relax. The food was average club food. It is worth a visit.

Fairly basic country social club. Accommodated a vegetarian request with a tasty pizza and big salad for a good price. Happily spent a few hours chatting and drinking with some of the local indigenous community. A bit of reality away from the tourist traps. Good fun!

A very warm atmosphere with friendly staff. The food was simple and good value.. Watching the sunset with 1000's of bats flying overhead with cold beers was a pleasant quirk.

They lost our food order, told me my food had came when our cutlery was untouched on our table. They gave a crapy excuse without apologising once and clearly showed us they were not happy to have to reopen the kitchen. Didn't offer a drink or just a piece of bread to wait... TERRIBLE service!
